It's for Mac only which is mystifying. I'm not sure why anyone would want to take on the free and mature Garageband head-to-head, but Podcast Potion is doing just that.
The site contains some screen shots and the obligatory feature list. I don't see anything in there out of the orindary. Pretty standard stuff. If anyone has a Mac and has given Podcast Factory a whirl, I'd be interested in hearing about it
Note Neil's comments below. I totally mis-called Podcast Factory - it's not an audio editor at all. Check it!

PodcastMaker doesn't record the podcast so cannot be classed as an audio editor strictly speaking and is not really pitching against Garageband in any significant way. The idea is to record then drop the audio file into PodcastMaker to create the RSS and upload (and create an enhanced AAC if you wish).
The one thing all such applications miss is the ability to ftp your audio files to a different server to that which hosts your RSS feed. Many podcasters like myself use unlimited bandwidth services such as Libsyn to distribute the audio, but use our own websites to host the blogs and RSS feeds. It's a common practice for all but the smallest of podcasts and has never been covered by any of the mac based podcast management software.
