A discussion about corporate and business podcasting with tips and guidelines

The Podcasting and Portable Media Expo is coming up in September and the list of topics and speakers has been announced. While the list looks pretty good, I think there's one topic that's missing.

• Podcasting 101 - A to Z for Beginners - Getting Up To Speed Fast
• Podcasting As A Business - Turning Content Into Profits
• Corporate Podcasting - Communications, PR and Marketing Best Practices
• Podcasting As A Hobby - For Those Who Create Purely for Enjoyment
• Podcasting for Specific Interests - Moving Traditional Content Into a Portable, On-Demand World (includes sessions for educators, musicians, and others)

How come there's nothing on podvertising? Podcast advertising is a totally different market than anything hiterto availble for either marketers or content producers.

If you've been following Biz Podcasting then you've likely heard of my three-legged dog. I'll spare you the story yet again, but the reason why I keep talking about my three-legged dog is that it illustrates the biggest difference between main stream media and podcasting. Niche targetting.
