Reader Steve B pointed me towards a relatively recent study of Internet media by Arbitron. Here's a
link to the PDF file. It's relatively long, but put together in nice little slide bits for easy consumption.
The two biggest surprises for me?
- Respondents were pretty much split 50/50 on whether they would rather watch free content with commercials they can't skip through, or pay a few bucks and watch content with no commercials.
- Over 60% of respondents had heard of either Sirius or XFM. satellite radio.
There's a ton of interesting information in ths study. The sample group was less than 2,000 people, sadly, so I don't know indicative it really is of the habits of 300 million Americans, but it's certainly better than the other survey that came out last week.
