Other than MSN Spaces, MS is pretty much ignoring the whole blog/podcasting thing and that seems like a really odd decision to me.
Almost all media players have podcasting support now, and the lack of it in WMP 11 will just drive users to other solutions like iTunes.
Perhaps MS is trying to purposely drive community solutions with WMP's plugin architecture. One enterprising user claims to have created a Podcast plugin for WMP11, but with no download available, it's hard to say if that's for real or not.
In any case, as Todd Cochrane has noted, this isn't helping podcast adoption since most computer users are still using Windows.
