It's not uncommon to see radios offering a selection of shows as podcasts, but I do believe this is a first for television:
The Montel Williams Show has announced that it will be offering free commentary and original content as a podcast starting June 26.
Montel Anytime will include commentary from the show's producers, follow-up interviews with guests and new material from Williams. It will also draw on the talk show's guest experts for advice.
Well, alright! I'm always happy to see main stream media come over to our side of the fence as it helps legitimize this whole crazy podcasting thing. I have to wonder, however, if a day time trash show is the right thing to lead the charge with. I mean, don't people only watch that crap because they happen to be home anyways?
It's unclear from the article whether this will be an audio or video cast, but I get the sense it will be audio only.Via Podcasting News
