The Switchpod Story
Did you know that Switchpod's executive is 17 years old? I didn't, but that totally explains the campy feel to the Switchpod emails I used to get.

The Ecommerce Times is carrying a great story about how Weina Scott and Jake Fischer started Switchpod, sold it to Wizzard for $200K in stock, and now pull down $40K a year CEO salaries while they continue to attend school.

"There's a lot of very successful young people that don't get spoken about very much," says David Hauser, who is involved with the Global Student Entrepreneur Awards and Students for the Advancement of Global Entrepreneurship. He says the bulk of young entrepreneurs head to the Internet, where capital required for a company is lower and criticism of an executive's young age is unlikely.

I's hard not to smile while reading the story.
