Quick News for Palm OS is a news aggregator. Not such a big deal until I found out that the newest version contains support for media enclosures.
Yup - Quick News is a Palm OS podcatcher now. It automatically downloads podcasts to an SD card whenever a sync is done.
I had a Kyocera 7135 last year which is a combination PDA/Phone and I listened to podcasts on it quite frequently. I had to manually copy them onto the CD card, though.
Quick News reminds me of Podcast Ready. It's kind of a device-side podcatcher. It not only runs from the device, but it stores the audio on the device.
As we become more and more converged, this type of functionality is going to become more common.
