A discussion about corporate and business podcasting with tips and guidelines

My soon-to-be-sister-in-law recently attended some kind of conference on post-secondary education. One of the offerings was a podcasting intro. I'm always pleased when I see podcasting offered in what I would consider an old institution and it seems that the typical Podcasting 101 type offering is getting more common.

This year's MacGathering will feature a seminar on podcastiing taught by Shelly Brisbin. I'll bet that's going to be a well attended event and Shelly should have fun teaching it with her brand new MacBook :)

There's an almost insatiable hunger out there for beginning podcast information. An article I wrote months ago has recently been published on Sitepoint and in the first day there was over 3,000 page views of it and...get this...a reader rating of 10/10 for it.

Expos and conferences that offer podcasting information go a long way to legitimizing the field. I think podcasting is almost over the hump and is starting to be accepted as well as blogging is, but the more leverage it gets the better.
